Hi, I'm Melissa.

I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, ABA consultant, and founder of Going Independent with nearly 20 years of experience helping people create meaningful, lasting behavior change.

Throughout my career, I've worked alongside families, clinicians, schools, and organizations to develop practical, evidence-based solutions that improve everyday life. Today, my work extends beyond direct clinical services to include educational content, mentorship, technology consulting, and building resources that help behavior analysts and families thrive.

Whether I'm supporting a caregiver navigating challenging behavior, mentoring a BCBA building an independent practice, or partnering with ABA providers to teach new ways to better support parents, my goal is always the same: to make behavior analysis practical, functional, and accessible.

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace." 1 Peter 4:10
